Is it me, or do these trees look like they have faces? Dante might have been on to something when he suggested that the spirits of suicides inhabit trees.

These trees were in a grove on the edge of an apple orchard near Pluckley in rural Kent (2011). You could quite easily imagine it being a place of worship at one time or another.
