Blacksmith, September 2018.

Last September I spent an afternoon in Thomas Gontar’s workshop at Glynde Forge. Fire, smoke and steam. The clanging of the hammer on the anvil. Tools, patterns and piles of metal make activity at the forge a wonderfully atmospheric subject.

MUD, Artwave 2018,

The Lady & the Unicorn, Paris, 2017

I saw the Lady and the Unicorn tapestries at the Musée national du Moyen Âge in Paris in the Autumn. They’re really great reference material for the prints and paintings I’m doing based on Medieval subjects. It is believed that the tapestries depict the senses.
